Care Instructions



  • We recommend pre-washing all your pole wear when wearing for the first time.

    Treat them well so they'll last for a long time!

    How to wash

    • Use mild detergent
    • Gentle cold hand wash in similar colours; or
    • Use a delicates bag and chuck it in gentle machine wash
    • Rinse out water & line dry

    Things to avoid

    • Do not soak, bleach, tumble dry, dry clean, iron
    • Do not rub on rough surfaces
    • Do not use fabric softeners*
    • Do not dry in direct sunlight**

    *Fabric softeners leave a coating on the fabric preventing moisture-wicking and breathing.

    They also often contain toxic substances and aren't environmentally friendly.


    **Intense light & heat fade the luminosity of most fabrics over time.

  • Your pole accessories absorb the shock from your exotic floor work and a bit of sweat from all your hard work.

    This means they can get an unpleasant smell over time - but treat them well and they can stay clean and last for a long time!

    In addition, they are made of neoprene (which makes them wear and tear-resistant) so you should take care of them a little differently:

    After use

    • Dab the sweat off them to avoid absorption
    • Air-dry after use
    • Don’t leave them inside closed spaces like in the trunk of the car

    Before you wash

    Microbes are what causes an unpleasant smell. Here are tips to get rid of it the odor:

    • Spray with a disinfectant
    • Put them in a zip-lock bag together with charcoal

    How to wash

    • Separate them from all other clothing items
    • Secure any fasteners
    • Use a mesh or delicates bag for extra care
    • Soak the pads for half an hour before washing
    • Use mild soap
    • Wash in gentle cold wash, low cycle
    • Air-dry after wash, even if it can take a day or two
