Different Types of Pole Dancers

Whether you’ve just started pole dancing or have been a pole dancer for a while, you’re some kind of pole dancer. Question is, which pole dancer are you?

The Copy Paste Pole Dancer

This is the enthusiastic pole dancer but only for a moment. 😉 This is the dancer who thinks they can do the pole trick after one demonstration by the teacher. Looks good inside their head but when he/she tries it out, they end up doing something else. Even sometimes injuring themselves.

The Lazy Pole Dancer

Yup this is the dancer who comes to class wanting to be the pole dancer they see on their Instagram feed, but don’t want to do the harder work. They barely do the exercises and try to skip through them as fast as they can.

The Hesitant Pole Dancer

Aka the second guesser. This is the pole dancer that comes to class excited but once it’s time to try a move out, they are never sure of themselves. You’ll hear “wait,” “just a moment,” “ummm” and a whole lot of words to stall them from doing a move right away.

The Negative Pole Dancer

This pole dancer definitely knows what they don’t like and are loud & clear about it. This is the dancer that no matter the encouragement will try to refuse to do a pole move they don’t want to do. From saying “It hurts too much,” “I’m not ready yet,” to even attempting to do the move but quickly getting off it because they just don’t like it that much.

The New Pole Dancer

Don’t be fooled! The new pole dancer may seem like the shy type but that only lasts in the beginning. This is the one who thinks he/she can’t do pole dancing, too shy to try, and everything seems too sexy, but a week or more later you’ll see a major difference. They’ll be decked in pole wear and not afraid to try new things.

The Unprepared Pole Dancer

This is the forgetful pole dancer who comes to class way too enthusiastic. So enthusiastic that they forget to wear their pole wear and gear. They bring it, but they just forget to wear it when class starts.

The Helpful Pole Dancer

Need help? Don’t worry because this pole dancer will be around right away. The helpful pole dancer loves to help his/her fellow pole dancers achieve their pole dreams. Sometimes even giving them step-by-step instructions on how to do a pole move. It’s like having a private class of your own!
